How to Onboard a New Vendor (Online Pickup)

✅ Purpose:

To ensure consistent, secure, and verified onboarding of vendors offering pickup services through the Cashkr Vendor App.


👥 Who’s Involved:

  • Ops Executive: Verifies documents and does onboarding call.

  • Vendor: Applies via app and agrees to T&Cs.

  • Ops Manager (if needed): Final approver for activation.


🪜 Step-by-Step Process:

Step 1: Vendor Discovery

Source vendor leads from:

  • Google, Justdial, OLX listings

  • Existing vendor referrals

Share the Cashkr Vendor App download link.

Step 2: Application via App

Ask vendor to:

  • Install the Cashkr Vendor App

  • Tap on “Apply as New Vendor”

    • Full Name

    • Phone Number

    • Aadhaar Card

    • PAN Card

    • Shop Address

    • Shop Photo

    • Gumastha/GST Certificate

    • Device Categories they want to handle (e.g., phones, laptops)

      Fill in all required details:

Step 3: Document Verification

  • In the Admin Panel, go to Vendors → Application

  • Manually verify all uploaded documents for clarity and validity.

  • Check if:

    • Aadhar & PAN match vendor name

    • Shop photo is real and not generic

    • Address is serviceable

Step 4: Store Video Call Verification

  • Call the vendor on video (WhatsApp or other).

  • Ask vendor to:

    • Show their shop board/signage

    • Show shop interior and proof of ownership

    • Confirm they understand basic pickup process and device categories.

Step 5: Manual Approval

If everything checks out:

  • Approve the vendor in the Admin Panel.

  • Assign nearby pincodes manually.

  • Activate their account.

  • System auto-credits 200 trial credits (used for 1–5 trial orders).

Step 6: T&C Acceptance

  • Once vendor logs in, they are shown Cashkr Terms & Conditions.

  • Vendor must tap “Agree” to proceed.

Step 7: Send Starter Kit (Optional)

Share training material via WhatsApp:

  • Sample pickup flow (PDF/video)

  • Vendor Dos & Don’ts

  • Common rejection reasons

Step 8: Monitor Trial Orders

Track first few orders to check:

  • Timely pickups

  • Status updates via app

  • Customer satisfaction

Note : Flag for further review if performance is poor.


🧠 Notes:

  • Do not onboard vendors without a store.

  • Trial credits are non-transferable and expire in 7 days if unused.

  • Limit new vendors to 3 active orders at a time until performance is proven. (3 Max Orders)
