How To Update Lead Disposition Status

🎯 Objective:

To properly record the outcome of every lead interaction (call, WhatsApp, or other) using accurate disposition statuses, enabling better tracking, follow-ups, and reporting.

🪜 Step-by-Step Process:

✅ Step 1: Open the Lead in Admin Panel

  1. Go to: Admin Panel → Leads → All Leads / Not Called / Callback / High Ends

  2. Use filters or search bar to locate the lead by:

    • Name

    • Phone number

    • Lead ID

✅ Step 2: Click to Edit Disposition

Once inside the lead record:

What to Select

Disposition 1

Call status (e.g., Connected / Not Reachable / Dropped / Busy)

Disposition 2

Outcome (e.g., Callback / Not Interested / Booked / Wrong Number)

Remarks

Add context like: “Wants call tomorrow 6PM” or “Wants better price”

Always fill in all 3 fields — skipping remarks = poor tracking.

✅ Step 3: Save the Update

  • Click Save / Submit

  • Lead will automatically move to the correct lead bucket:

    • Callback → goes to Leads → Callbacks

    • Dropped → removed from active queue

    • Booked → tagged for conversion tracking

✅ Step 4: Use Consistent Tags (Best Practice)

🧠 Tips for Accuracy:

  • Always update disposition immediately after the call

  • Use clear remarks: “Call later” is not enough → write “Customer asked to call after 7PM as busy at office”

  • Review leads with Disposition = Callback daily for follow-ups
