How to Temporarily Disable Pickup in a Specific Area

🎯 Objective:

To temporarily disable pickups in an area due to lack of vendors, operational challenges, or low order fulfillment, while also ensuring ads and lead generation are paused.

🪜 Step-by-Step Process:

✅ Step 1: Go to Area Settings

  1. Log in to Admin Panel

  2. Navigate to:

    Settings → Area Management → Select City → Area → Device Type

  3. Under each device type:

    • Uncheck the checkbox next to the device

    • If disabling all devices, toggle off the entire area/pincode

✅ Step 2: Send Internal Notification Email

Email format:

To: rhea.chheda@cashkr.com
CC: ops@cashkr.com (or relevant ops lead)
Subject: [URGENT] Disable Ads for Area [Area Name / Pincode]
Hi Rhea,
Due to operational constraints/vendor unavailability, pickups have been disabled in area [Pincode/Area Name].
Please turn off all running ads and campaigns targeting this pincode until further notice.

🧠 Notes:

  • Always check if active orders exist before disabling area

  • Reactivate area by rechecking device types or toggling area back on

  • Notify vendor team if area is to be reopened
