How to Limit Maximum Orders for a Vendor
✅ Purpose:
To control the number of active/in-progress orders a vendor can handle at a time, ensuring they are not overloaded and improving pickup success rates.
👥 Who’s Involved:
-
Ops Executive: Updates the max lead (order) limit for the vendor.
-
Vendor (indirectly): Will see only that many leads available at once.
🪜 Step-by-Step Process:
Step 1: Open All Vendors
Login to the Admin Panel.
Go to:
Vendors → All Vendors
-
Use the search bar to find the specific vendor by name, email, or ID.
Step 2: Select the Vendor
Click the vendor’s name to open their profile.
On the right, you’ll see their full details — including:
-
-
Name
-
Phone & Email
-
Credits
-
Devices Assigned
-
Area Coverage
-
🔢 Max Leads
-
Step 3: Update Max Leads Limit
Locate the “Max Leads” field (between Credits and Vendor Type).
Click the number (e.g., currently 2) and change it to the desired limit:
-
-
👉 Best practice: keep new/inactive vendors at 2–3
-
👉 High-performing vendors can handle 5–7
-
✅ The system auto-saves or provides a “Save”/“Update” button depending on your backend setup.
Step 4: Verify Limit
-
Ensure the updated value reflects in the field.
-
Vendor will now only be able to pick or be auto-assigned up to this many simultaneous orders.
