How to Add Or Remove Vendor Area/Pincode in Admin

✅ Purpose:

To enable the operations team to add a new serviceable pincode for Cashkr by filling all necessary details in the Admin Panel.


🪜 Step-by-Step Process:

Step 1: Navigate to Area Management

  • Login to the Admin Panel.

  • Go to: Left Sidebar → Area → Area → Click “Add Area”.

  • A popup like the one in the image will appear.

Step 2: Fill Area Details in the Form

  1. Pincode:

    Enter the 6-digit pincode accurately.

  2. City:

    Enter the full city name (e.g., Mumbai, Hyderabad).

  3. State:

    Enter the corresponding state name (e.g., Maharashtra, Telangana).

  4. Device Types:

    ✅ Tick all device types that can be serviced in this area.

    Common options include:

    • Mobile

    • Laptop

    • Mac

    • TV

    • Headphones

    • Tablet

      (Only tick what your assigned vendors can handle)

     

  5. Is Area Serviceable:

    Keep this ✅ checked only if vendors are already active in this area and can begin accepting orders immediately.

    ❌ Leave unchecked if you’re adding the pincode in advance for future activation.

Step 3: Save the Area

  • Once all fields are complete, click the green “Add Area” button.

  • The area will now be live (if marked as serviceable) or listed under inactive if not.

Step 4: Assign Vendors to the New Area

  • Go to Vendors → Select Vendor → Edit Service Areas

  • Add this newly created pincode to their assigned list.

  • Ensure they support the selected device types and have credits.

Step 5: Test & Confirm

Open the Customer App or frontend:

  • Enter the new pincode during device selection.

  • Confirm pricing and flow are working.

Ask an assigned vendor to check if new leads are visible.
