How to Assign Pincode to a Vendor

To guide the team on how to manually assign serviceable pincodes to a vendor so they can start receiving orders in their selected areas.
🪜 Step-by-Step Process
🧾 Step 1: Go to Vendor Management in Admin Panel

Navigate to Admin Panel → Vendors → All Vendors

Search for the vendor by name or phone number
📍 Step 2: Open Vendor Profile

Click on the Vendor Name to open their profile

Scroll down to the Serviceable Area / Pincode section
➕ Step 3: Assign Pincode(s)

Click on Add Area / Pincode

From the dropdown, select the city/zone

Choose specific pincode(s) relevant to vendor location

Click Save/Update
✅ Tip: Prefer assigning areas near vendor’s shop or areas they confirmed they can serve.
📋 Step 4: Verify Device Type Assignment
Ensure vendor has appropriate device types (Phone, Laptop, etc.) selected for the assigned area:

If not: Go to Device Types Section and assign them accordingly.
🔄 Step 5: Test Activation (Optional)
Once pincodes are assigned:

Vendor should see orders from those pincodes

You can simulate a test lead to verify pickup availability
