Providing SEO-Optimized Blog Topics to Writers

Purpose

To ensure Content Writers receive daily SEO-optimized blog topics that align with brand goals, target audience, and search demand, while avoiding duplication and maintaining high search performance.

Scope

Applicable to SEO Specialist, Marketing Manager, and Content Writers for both Cashkr and BigBoldTech.com.

Frequency

Daily — Topics must be finalized and shared before 12:00 PM IST every working day.

Responsibility

  • Primary: SEO Specialist

  • Secondary: Marketing Manager & Content Writers can suggest topics for review.

Tools Required

  • Ubersuggest (Keyword volume, difficulty, CPC, related keywords)

  • Competitor Blog Analysis (Cashify, Yaantra, Flipkart Recommerce for Cashkr; similar niche competitors for BigBoldTech.com)

  • Google Search (People Also Ask, Related Searches)

  • Shared Google Sheet (Topic Master List)

Process Steps

Step 1: Collect Topic Ideas

  1. Open Ubersuggest → Search for main keywords related to both brands.

  2. Note down topics with:

    • Search Volume >500 (for Cashkr) / >300 (for BigBoldTech.com)

    • Keyword Difficulty <40 (preferably)

    • Relevance to brand offerings & audience.

  3. Visit competitor blogs and note down:

    • Latest articles in the last 3 months.

    • Evergreen content performing well in SERPs.

Step 2: Finalize Topics

  1. Select 2 topics for Cashkr and 5 topics for BigBoldTech.com.

  2. Ensure:

    • No duplication with “Used Topics” tab in the master sheet.

    • Topic titles are SEO-friendly and reader-attractive.

Step 3: Fill Topic Master Sheet

  1. Enter topics in the shared Zoho Sheet

Step 4: Approval

  1. Share the filled sheet with the Marketing Manager for approval.

  2. The Marketing Manager reviews & confirms within 30 minutes.

Step 5: Share with Writers

  1. After approval, mark Status = Assigned in the sheet.

  2. Notify the Content Writer via Slack/Email with:

    • Topic title

    • Primary keyword

    • Any additional content notes.

Step 6: Tracking & Maintenance

  1. Once a blog is published, update Status = Used in the sheet.

  2. Archive monthly sheets for future reference.

Quality Checks

  • Topics must be keyword-rich but natural.

  • Avoid overly generic or clickbait titles.

  • Ensure balance between trending and evergreen topics.
