🎯 Objective:

To request, collect, store, and organize video or written testimonials from satisfied customers, highlighting their identity (with consent), and categorizing them for effective marketing use.


🛠️ Tools Required:

  • Google Forms / WhatsApp (for consent collection)

  • Google Drive (for testimonial storage)

  • Google Docs / Sheets (tracker & written testimonials)

  • Smartphone / Webcam / Email (for recording or submitting)

  • Canva / Video Editor (for editing and subtitling)

📅 Step-by-Step Process:


✅ Step 1: Identify Happy Customers for Testimonials

Trigger points:

  • Positive review on Google/App

  • Verbal feedback during CX/vendor calls

  • Repeat customer or high-value seller

✅ Step 2: Send Testimonial Request

Choose either format:

A. WhatsApp Request Template (Video)

✅ Step 3: Share Consent Form

Use a simple Google Form or message template like:

Consent is mandatory before publishing.

✅ Step 4: Collect & Review the Testimonial

🎥 For Video:

  • Ask for landscape format (preferred) or portrait (if for Reels/Shorts)

  • Ensure clear audio, face visibility, and natural background

  • Keep raw footage under 1 minute

  • Request resend if unclear or poor quality

📝 For Written:

  • Ensure it contains: Experience + Device Sold + Name + City

  • Ask for a headshot or permission to use their display photo

✅ Step 5: Store with Proper Structure

Save in Google Drive → Testimonials → [Video] / [Written]

📝 Notes:

  • Don’t script customer responses — ask for natural stories

  • Follow up if the customer delays recording

  • Repurpose testimonials in reels, case studies, website, or ads
