🛠️ Tools Required:

  • Google Sheets

  • Slack / WhatsApp / Email (for team communication)

  • Canva / Figma (for creative status reference)

🧩 Scope of Calendar:

The monthly calendar covers:

  • ✅ Social Media (organic posts across platforms)

  • ✅ Email Campaigns (retargeting, festive, offer-based)

  • ✅ App & Website Banners

  • ✅ Paid Ad Campaigns (Google, Meta, etc.)

  • ✅ Influencer Collabs (posting date, content type)

  • ✅ Blog / SEO Content Releases

  • ✅ Campaigns (if planned)

📅 Step-by-Step Process:

✅ Step 1: Duplicate Monthly Calendar Template

  • On the 25th of every month, create a copy of the existing content calendar for the upcoming month

  • Use file name format:
    📄 Cashkr_Marketing_Calendar_MMM_YYYY
    (e.g., Cashkr_Marketing_Calendar_Aug_2025)

✅ Step 2: Populate the Calendar with Key Dates

  • Add all confirmed dates:

    • Festivals / Global Events

    • Internal Offers / Bonus Days

    • Product Releases / Updates

    • Recurring Campaigns (e.g., Recycle Thursdays)

✅ Step 3: Assign Activities to Each Date

For each date and platform:

✅ Step 4: Creative & Caption Assignment

  • Share daily/weekly task briefs to relevant team members:

    • Graphic Designer for banners/post formats

    • Content Writer or Exec for captions, email bodies, blog intros

  • Set clear internal deadlines (TAT: 3 days per item)

✅ Step 5: Internal Review & CEO Approval

  • Once 90% of the calendar is filled, the Marketing Manager shares it with the CEO

  • Review happens between 28th–30th of the current month

  • CEO provides:

    • Green light ✅

    • Revisions 🔁

    • Priority tagging ⭐️ (for high-ROI initiatives)

✅ Step 6: Lock & Share with Team

  • Once approved:

    • Add “✅ Approved” in header

    • Share link with all stakeholders (marketing, design, content, dev)

    • Freeze changes unless emergency edits needed

✅ Step 7: Track Execution Throughout the Month

  • Update status column as each item is executed

  • Note final creative and performance insight

  • Use color codes:

    • 🟢 Posted

    • 🟡 Delayed

    • 🔴 Cancelled

✅ Notes:

  • Keep the calendar clutter-free: Use one row per post/platform combo

  • Use filters by platform, status, or campaign for easier navigation

  • Conduct a quick retrospective at end of each month to improve planning

  • Always add CEO-approved initiatives first to ensure priority alignment
