Content and SEO Review Process

🎯 Objective:

To ensure that all content (blogs, landing pages, category pages, SEO copy) is reviewed for accuracy, alignment with SEO strategy, and brand voice before publishing — and periodically monitored for performance and refresh opportunities.


🛠 Tools Required:

  • Google Docs (for content drafts)

  • Google Sheets / Notion (Content Tracker)

  • Grammarly / Hemingway (language check)

  • Ubersuggest / Google Keyword Planner / Ahrefs (keyword validation)

  • Google Search Console / GA4 (performance tracking)

  • LiftOS or Google Drive (content storage)

  • Review: Before every content publish

  • Audit: Monthly performance audit

  • Update Cycle: Quarterly content refresh


📋 Step-by-Step Process:


✅ Step 1: Receive Content from Writer & SEO Specialist

  • Open the content piece submitted via:

    • Google Docs (drafted blog/post)

    • Linked Notion entry in the tracker

Ensure it includes:

  • Main keyword(s)

  • Suggested meta title & description

  • Internal linking suggestions

  • Proposed URL slug

  • Featured image idea

✅ Step 2: Brand Voice & Structure Check

Review content for:

  • Tone of Voice:

    • Friendly, helpful, and simple (Cashkr tone)

  • Structure:

    • Hook → Problem → Value/Advice → CTA

  • Avoid:

    • Overly technical or robotic language

    • Keyword stuffing

✅ Add comments or suggestions in “Suggesting” mode
✅ Fix basic flow or headers if needed

✅ Step 3: Value Alignment & Relevance

Ensure the content:

  • Highlights Cashkr’s USP (e.g., instant payout, e-waste care, no-hassle pickup)

  • Has at least 1 reference to brand (Cashkr name, CTA, platform features)

  • Fulfills user intent (informative, transactional, navigational)

✅ Step 4: SEO Optimization Check

Coordinate with SEO Specialist or self-verify:

  • Keyword Placement:

    • Title, H1, first paragraph, subheads, conclusion

  • Meta Title & Description:

    • Within length limits

    • Unique, click-worthy

  • Internal Linking:

    • Add 2–3 relevant links to other Cashkr pages

  • External Links:

    • Only if credible (govt, data source, authority sites)

  • Alt Text & Filename:

    • Add meaningful names for images (if any)

✅ Step 5: Final Approval & Handover for Upload

Once reviewed:

  • Update status in tracker: ✅ Approved for Upload

  • Notify SEO Specialist to proceed with:

    • Upload to CMS

    • Set metadata

    • Publish scheduling

✅ Step 6: Post-Publish Monitoring

After live:

  • Check:

    • Indexing via Search Console

    • Clicks, impressions, bounce rate (after 2–3 weeks)

  • Share insights with team for future optimization

✅ Step 7: Content Refresh (Quarterly)

Review high-performing and underperforming content:

  • Update:

    • Outdated stats or screenshots

    • Internal links

    • Keyword targeting (based on trends)

Mark in tracker:

  • “Needs Refresh” or “Updated [Date]”


📝 Notes:

  • All edits/feedback should be done within 48 hours

  • Only approved content should be moved to CMS

  • Use a standard blog naming convention:
    YYYY-MM-DD_Topic_Approved_v1
